Indigenous Arts & Stories - Still Here...

This year I wanted to do another collage. I asked friends and family in both the First Nation and Metis community if I could take their portraits with ONE word that describes their life or themselves. The response was great...some were inspiring and others thought provoking. I started the collage with a colour portrait of my brother with the words "I am..." and ended it with him in colour with the words "...still here". I wanted to make this statement about the First Nation, Inuit and Metis communities that despite everything we are still here.
